Welcome to Tunstead Primary School

Our vision is to build upon strong foundations to ensure that our pupils are happy, secure and resilient individuals ready to move forward to a bright future. Our aims are at the heart of everything we do, they filter through the whole curriculum and act as a basis for our teaching and learning, our social, emotional and physical development and to empower us to create an outstanding school.

Tunstead is a rural school with 86 pupils currently on roll. Our children are taught in four classes by a very enthusiastic and dedicated staff. Our last Oftsed inspection praised us for the care, guidance and support we give our pupils as well as for their good behaviour.

We have a fabulous outdoor provision; a school garden where we grow fruit and vegetables for cooking, a pond, a woodland area for Forest School, a play area built by Bewilderwood, a playground as well as our school field.

I hope these pages give you all the information you need. We are constantly updating the site so keep checking for the latest information. If you need any more information or have any suggestions, please feel free to call or email head@tunstead.norfolk.sch.uk; I’ll be pleased to hear from you.

If you would like to visit our school please contact our school office on 01603 737395.
