The school does not have its own kitchen but hot meals and lunches are brought in from a larger school nearby. A seasonal menu is offered and changed over a three week cycle. From 1st April 2024 the cost of a pupil school meal is rising to £2.58. All lunches will need to be paid for in advance either weekly, monthly or half termly by Parent Pay. Please contact the school office for details. The order for the day’s meals is forwarded to the school office shortly after morning registration. We are happy to order meals on a daily basis. Some children may choose to have one or two hot meals each week and bring a packed lunch on the other occasions.
Your child may bring in a packed lunch if he or she does not wish to have a hot meal. We would greatly appreciate if the packed meal could provide a healthy balance in line with our efforts to promote healthy eating. Thank you.
Children have access to fresh drinking water throughout the day when the require it. They may bring drinks in with their packed lunch but would you please ensure that containers are secure and leak-proof. Sorry, but fizzy drinks are not allowed.
